An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
An arrest does not establish guilt. A prosecutor may decline or change charges, a court may dismiss a case or enter a favorable outcome, and a booking record does not show the final disposition. Later amendment or expungement can also make an old copy misleading. Verify the present status with Utah Courts, Summit County Sheriff, or the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification, as appropriate.
Treat every record you find as a starting point, not a verdict. Only the originating agency can confirm what a record currently says and whether it is still releasable.

A court date belongs with Utah Courts, a Summit County warrant or booking question with the responsible court or sheriff, a personal Utah repository history with BCI, and a registry status with the Utah Sex, Kidnap, and Child Abuse Offender Notification and Registration Website. Only the custodian can issue an official or certified copy.
